“Interoperability” has become something of a buzzword in healthcare—it comes up often in discussions because it sounds good, but what’s actually being done on the ground is pretty difficult to assess. Is it still an industry (and vendor) priority? Or was it a fad that came and went as other needs and trends bubbled up to the surface?
