PerfectServe

Pacific Daily News

Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) recently implemented PerfectServe to streamline communication workflows among physician care teams. Prior to PerfectServe, GRMC used manual communication workflows that often involved inaccurate call schedules that led to lost or unanswered messages.

Today, GRMC uses PerfectServe's clinical communication platform to give care teams access to real-time call schedules, detailed message tracking capabilities, and escalation functionalities that automatically redirect important messages left unanswered for a certain amount of time. GRMC is also using PerfectServe for mass notifications to rapidly alert staff about inclement weather or military activity on the island.

The first phase of implementation brought on 1,500 users across 15 departments, and future phases will introduce the automated delivery of critical lab results, consult orders, and nurse call alerts.
