Communication software built for the [way nurses work]
PerfectServe sends every call, message, and alert to the nurse caring for that patient right now, on one app that works on the device your nurses already carry.
What a unit gets back
One hospital's numbers after moving nurse communication onto the platform:
6 things nurses will notice if you switch
The message finds who's on

1 inbox, not 5 devices

The water request skips the nurse

Messaging inside the chart

Urgent sounds different

1 click mobilizes the team

It holds up on real units
Our nurses have always prided themselves on providing the best patient care, so their excellence was never in question, but working with PerfectServe to streamline so many of their clinical workflows and unlock new efficiencies in the care delivery process has been a tremendous satisfier for the whole team.

What nurses ask first
What happens on a shared device unit?
Shared device support ties the device to the role and shift, so the right person gets the right alerts when they sign in.
Does it work inside the chart?
Yes. Our available EHR-embedded messaging module lets nurses send and receive messages directly from the patient chart, with patient context attached. Intelligent routing still applies, so a message sent from the chart reaches the same correct recipient it would from the mobile app.
Will this mean more alerts, not fewer?
The opposite is the point. PerfectServe organizes communication for nurses so the information they receive is relevant, timely, and easy to consume. Routine, non-clinical requests for things like water or bathroom assistance can be programmed to route automatically to a patient care tech or comparable role, so RNs stay on top-of-license work.
What value will PerfectServe bring to our nursing staff?
PerfectServe facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration across all care settings and among all care team members, including nurse communication. PerfectServe allows nurses to easily identify and immediately connect with the right person for any given clinical situation, meaning it's just that much easier to get in touch with a doctor. By eliminating 1) the non-value-add activity associated with searching for whom to contact and how to do so, 2) extended wait times for returned pages/calls, and 3) errant calls to the wrong physician or other care team members, PerfectServe is able to ease the workload of the nurse and increase care team efficiency and productivity. Consequently, PerfectServe is proven to reduce communication cycle times resulting in fewer care delays, faster care response time, decreased patient wait time, enhanced patient experience, expedited patient transitions, and increased direct care time.
Do I need a special device to use PerfectServe?
No. PerfectServe works on your legacy devices, smartphones (including both BYOD and shared device models), VoIP and landline phones, desktops, and even pagers. No proprietary devices are required.
