Cooper Gallimore is the Corporate Attorney for PerfectServe and is responsible for advising and overseeing legal matters as in-house general counsel for all PerfectServe owned companies. His primary areas of focus are in leading and developing PerfectServe’s enterprise contract lifecycle management program and ensuring all company processes are compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as PerfectServe’s chief HIPAA compliance officer.
Gallimore brings a diverse portfolio of public and private sector legal experience to his role. Prior to joining PerfectServe, he was an attorney for the State of Tennessee, having most recently worked in the Department of Human Resources (DOHR) Office of the General Counsel as an EEO Investigator where he oversaw workplace harassment and discrimination investigations within executive branch agencies statewide. Gallimore also served as the Risk Manager for the Department of General Services’ (DGS) Central Procurement Office where he was responsible for setting policies with regards to insurance and risk in state procurement contracts and while in this role he administered and further developed the State’s innovative click-wrap procurement process. His previous legal experience includes a stint in criminal litigation working in a county prosecutor’s office in northern Indiana and nearly five years spent in the petroleum services industry as a Land Manager investigating real estate title spanning acreage across southeast Ohio as part of the Utica shale play.
Gallimore has been licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 2016. He received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame School of Law in 2012 and his B.A. from St. John’s College in Annapolis Maryland in 2005 where he studied mathematics and philosophy.
