Syncing your PerfectServe email account with the Android
Like all cell phones, the Android can receive calls and text messages from PerfectServe and you can dial in to access messages and contact colleagues. In addition, the Android can be used to view PerfectServe voice and email messages. This article explains how to sync your Android with your PerfectServe email account/inbox using the POP/IMAP functionality.
1. First, open the email application, by default, it’s located on the home screen but you can also locate it in the all applications menu.
2. Now you will need to enter your PerfectServe email address and password in the lines provided, then hit Manual Setup.
3. Select Exchange.
4. Next you will have to edit the Domain\Username field by adding psknoxmain to the beginning of your username. You will also need to ensure that the Exchange Server field says, outlook.perfectserve.net, not just perfectserve.net. Make sure the only check box checked is, Use secure connection (SSL). Do not check the, Accept all SSL certificates, if you do you will not be able to listen to attached voicemails.
5. Hit Next and you should see the screen below.
6. You will now be able to customize your PerfectServe account, once you have it set the way you want hit Next.
7. After you name your account hit Done, you will then be brought to your inbox where your mail should start showing up almost immediately.
8. You are now able to view your PerfectServe inbox.
