1. Call Screening

Call ScreeningThe first upgrade relates to one of PerfectServe’s most popular contact methods: FollowMe.

With FollowMe, calls route automatically to a specified phone (cell, home, office back-line, etc.). When you answer, you hear the caller’s name and can choose to accept or reject the call.

With the new “Call Screening” upgrade, you can simply say “yes” to accept, or “no” to reject the call (and follow the next step in your contact profile, which can be secure voicemail, text message or numeric page). This hands-free upgrade eliminates the need to search for buttons on your keypad while driving or in the middle of the night.

FollowMe is the fastest and most direct way to receive clinical calls. It eliminates call backs and pager tag. It also may allow you to eliminate your pager. Because PerfectServe lets you selectively filter calls based on the reason, department and/or clinical situation, you can choose FollowMe for some calls while choosing another contact method (secure voice or email, text message or page) for others.

You might consider using FollowMe for:

  • All urgent calls, consults, and critical results.
  • Calls originating from the ED or ICU.
  • When you want to be most accessible.
  • When you use a cell phone instead of a pager.

2. Colleague Speech Directory

Colleague Speech DirectoryThe new colleague speech directory allows you to reach your colleagues more quickly and easily. You no longer have to remember extensions or spell out their last name on your keypad.

Imagine driving down the road, calling into PerfectServe and just saying your colleague’s name, rather than filtering through your contacts or waiting on hold to have them paged through the hospital operator.

With the new colleague speech directory, you simply call your PerfectServe number and can speak the name of the physician you wish to reach. Whether you are a PerfectServe Practice user and would like to speak to a colleague in your practice, or a PerfectServe Hospital user and would like to speak to a physician on staff at a PerfectServe hospital, we'll place the call for you.
