Jay Lown Joins PerfectServe, a Leading Provider of

as an Implementation Consultant

Knoxville, Tenn. — PerfectServe, the premier provider of voice, online and mobile clinician-to-clinician communications, announced today that Jay Lown has joined the firm as a hospital implementation consultant. In this role, Lown is responsible for guiding PerfectServe’s hospital clients through the deployment process of the company’s intelligent communications system, which eliminates hospital errors and enables nurses and doctors to better coordinate care. “As PerfectServe continues to expand into hospital systems across the country, we continue to strengthen the team of consultants who are responsible for ensuring a smooth transition to our system for hospitals, clinicians and their patients,” said Terry Edwards, chief executive officer of PerfectServe. “Jay’s background includes both health care and new business development, experience that will serve him well in his new role as implementation consultant. Lown, 41, comes to PerfectServe from Astec Underground, a manufacturer of heavy construction equipment, where he was an international territory sales manager. In this role, he managed sales and new business development in Latin America, Europe and Russia. Earlier in his career he spent several years selling the MEDITECH hospital information system in the Minnesota/Iowa region.
Lown also served the country as an air traffic controller for the U.S. Navy and was deployed for a one-year tour in Iraq with the Tennessee National Guard. He holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, and is fluent in Spanish.
