Joins PerfectServe’s Advisory Board

Knoxville, Tenn. — PerfectServe, the premier provider of voice, online and mobile clinician-to-clinician communications, announced today that Melayne Yocum has joined its advisory board. Yocum is a well-known healthcare consultant with a solid track record in helping healthcare organizations, specializing in financial turnarounds and process redesigns.
Yocum, a Los Angeles County resident, will provide PerfectServe with insight on clinical communications issues and restructuring processes for improved efficiency and bottom line results. Her experience includes serving as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of HealthCare Partners for more than 11 years. During her tenure there, she was part of a team that took the organization from 120,000 patients in full risk arrangements to more than 760,000, and also improved contribution margins more than 300 percent while significantly improving clinical quality measures.
Prior to HealthCare Partners, Yocum was a consultant for 14 years for hospitals and medical groups/IPAs in strategic consulting, mergers and acquisitions and other financially focused projects. She began her career with Price Waterhouse in the National Health Care office with a scope that included audits and consulting engagements for hospitals across the country.
