Pam Arlotto is president and chief executive officer of Maestro Strategies. Arlotto founded her own consulting firm, Maestro Strategies, which is focused on strategic planning, organization design and process transformation for IT suppliers and healthcare providers. Clients have included large enterprise healthcare vendors, niche companies, academic medical centers and community health systems. 

Arlotto was instrumental in the founding of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and has served as its national president. Most recently, Arlotto led development of a Business Plan for the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT). 

Arlotto holds a master’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University, and a bachelor’s degree in health systems from Georgia Institute of Technology.  Early in her career, Arlotto was a consultant with E&Y and SunHealth in Charlotte, N.C.  Pam has authored numerous articles and award winning books on the subject of information technology and its return on investment for providers.
