Arnold Aigen, MD


Dr. Aigen is a Urologic Surgeon with the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group — an 800+ physician multispecialty group providing medical services to the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Dr. Aigen was central to the creation, marketing and design of the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group — the successful result of a merger of the Camino Medical Group, Palo Alto Medical Clinic and Santa Cruz Medical Clinic.

Dr. Aigen currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group and its compensation committee. In addition, he has served on the Board of Trustees of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation — the administrative umbrella organization that contracts with medical groups and represents more than $1 billion in annual revenues.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, Dr. Aigen maintains a very active urologic practice in the San Francisco bay area. He also serves as Past Chairman of the Department of Surgery at El Camino Hospital and serves as a consultant for medical malpractice cases.

A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Aigen earned his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, completed his general surgical residency at Montefiore Medical Center and his urologic residence at George Washington University Medical Center.
